he is running with darrick johnson... good friend of mine and cat dealer out in ID, edge performance.
darrick and his team mate last year were the first team ever to place in the top 10 outside of alaska if i remember right.
he year before his team mate broke his back and rode another 200 miles before he could not go on any farther. crazy crazy mofos!
get after it boys! just finishing this race is a true accomplishment.

The guy who ran with him last year was Kurt Steiner. He said it was the most challenging thing he has done in his life, both mentally and physically. When you are running balls out in -40 degree weather through the nastiest terrain in the world, I think you have to be half crazy!!!!

Ya I seen that to. I know he like to think he is only 30 but those of us that know him know he is a year or two older then that.
Was -50 yesterday when they rolled through Kaltag, has warmed up to about 24*F now in the area.
