Break in with a timing key?

Just finished putting the sled back together after having to crack the case to remove piston bits. . . she's just about ready to go, just wondering if anyone has any input on running a 3 deg. advanced timing key, (this is a stock m7), I had been running a D&D 900 kit and they suggested this key, but only to install it after 300 mile break in period. . . any help would be great

It won't affect how the motor breaks in.

Thats what I was thinking aswell just figured I'd get a second opinion, thanks for the input

be careful of detination if it does it will stick it in a hartbeat m sleds run a lot of timing stock use high octane fuel to keep detination down
