I live and work in Bralorne B.C. I would like to hear from anyone who has ridden this area and all your comments ,feedback, etc. love it, hate it, praises complaints etc. I am looking for ways to make our town a more sledding friendly community.
For those that have never been or even heard of it ,Bralorne is a small community north of Pemberton B.C. accessed by the hurley fsr on snowmobile or by vehicle 100 km west of Lillooet. It has been said that Bralorne and the Bridge River Valley has the best snowmobiling in the world but is a little more difficult to access and has never had the publicity due to the lack of population.

Bralorne really is Whistler's backcountry!

I live and work in Vancouver and own a place in Bralorne. Bsimon is spot on, Bralorne (and area) has the best riding in Western Canada. I've brought riders from all over Western Canada to Bralorne and the reaction is always the same - "Wow, this place is amazing. How have I never heard of it?"

To those of us that ride Bralorne a lot, our reaction is a challenging one - we kind of don't want any one to know about it.... but to Bruce (bsimon) he'd like some more traffic. Ha, I get that! But if it starts to become like Revy, I'm gonna be p-issed!

Nice to have our own thread B-Roose!

Just got off the phone with Bruce the owner of the the Mine Pub and made reservations next week for powder riding on the Glacier:face-icon-small-hap,new place for Red Dog & Rabbit will report back with Pics.Going to be tough taking a ribbing, they beat us in Hockey for the Gold, but sure am glad thier our neighbors.Cheers Red Dog.

I rang in 2010 while in Bralorne this year, a great party with fellow sledders and excellent hospitality at the mineshaft pub. I've only experienced one riding area off the Hurly FSR, which is very good. Booked another weekend at the mines motel in a couple weeks, get a chance to check out some other riding areas, hoping for some new snow.

Bralorne is really really good, definately worth going to for anyone who has never been there. I still rank Stewart b.c. as the premier riding zone in the province, but the b.r.v. definately leaves not much to be desired. Some of the best zones out there.

new snow on the way
