When the brake is applied on my 2011 pro, there is a big "clunk" from the caliper area..... I cant find anything loose or missing. Also it doenst take alot of pressure on the lever to lock the brakes up. Anyone have the same issues? Thanks!

loose chain, broke chain, soose sproket? did you take off the cover and check out the inside?

I took the cover off to check the chain and sprockets for grins.... nothing jumped out at me, I replaced the fluid and put everything back the way it came apart.... If i ease into the brake, it doesnt do it, if I squeeze it hard i get a big "thunk"

What you're experiencing may be quite normal. The first time I rode an 11 I hated the brakes, overly touchy and take forever to release compared to my edge. I now own a 2012 Pro, they're still overly sensitive, definitely clunk alot, take forever and a day to release, really hate'em but that's just the way they are.

A couple more thoughts; the stock plastic tensioner is garbage. Throw it away as it will fail when you need it most. Buy a tensioner from any year of the IQR race sled and install it. The plastic portion will crack if you are riding in the cold and apply the brake hard. It may well even look intact but where the tension bolt is supposed to make contact it will be gone. I carry a spare when I ride to save the group from having to tow any of the IQ's or PRO's out.

The PRO Caliper has been upgraded and superseded so many times in the last three years that you have to phone the dealer for the current # and price. They can't update the on line micro fiche fast enough it seems. Worth checking into. The master cylinders are also very touchy to fluid level and need to be bleed properly or the any air expands as the under hood heat builds and engages the brake. Which is my belief why some of the '13 QD belts are cooking and failing. Top sprocket heat soak from brake drag!

Thanks for the info! I check the chain tension, it was a little loose but not horrible. I took a good look at the whole system and everything checks out fine. Nothing loose or out of place, case is full of fluid. I bled the brakes and got nothing but fluid out of the bleeder. I hate to say it... might have to run it until a problem rares its ugly head..... Might have to invest in some spare parts for sure though!
Thanks again!
