2011 pro. last ride I had a terrible squeling coming from under hood. horrible noise. figured out it was my brake caliper locking up. What r some of you doing to remedy the tight brakes on these machines?? not a lot of play in the brake lever that's for sure!!

try bleeding your brakes, then make sure the fluid level in the mst cyl. is not to high should work as designed if you do this

Hmmmm. Interesting fix. Sounds like that would work, but seems temporary.....

Hardly temporary, Tri-City Performance sells a kit that places two springs between the brake pads, thus when you release your lever the springs apply preasure to keep the pads from resonating on the disc.

This however is not a fix for a air in line/over fluid condition. Get that stuff ironed out first, then the spring kit keeps it from making that annoying whining sound when off the brakes.

Can you post a link for this?

There is already two springs wrapped around the pads. looks like it is designed to stop the resonating. So I should add two more springs between the pads??? I'm going to try bleeding brake first. Hopefully that solves the issue.
