We are wanting to take a couples trip north a few hours, anyone know of some good places to ride around brainard, that have rentals? Would like to find someplace that isn't packed with people either. Thanks

They don't have rentals, but The place across the road does or there are a couple of shops that rent. I think all the info is on the site under the winter link.

Nice place, right on the trail, good eats in the area.

Trail conditions are generally good, with a good base in most places, but fresh snow would be most welcome.

I think Craguns Resort rents sleds as well as Kavanaughs. Both are close to each other, and close to trails.
