I need to reroute a couple cooling lines on my turbo project, and I'm building a new fuel system. I have this silly/awesome idea to replace a good percentage of the underhood hoses with braided stainless lines, and AN fittings. Anyone ever done this? I know it will be pricey as hell, but I've come to the conclusion I won't be trading this thing off anytime soon. I mainly like the idea of heat protection for the lines that run close to the turbo, plus this gives me the opportunity to reroute lots of lines farther away from the heat source.
My biggest question is how to adapt stainless to the 1" fittings on the thermostat, and tunnel coolers. I've never worked with this braided line stuff before, and I'm wondering how to rig up the fittings for this.
