any way these panels can be pinholed instead of putting vents during the
molding process for much need air circulation??

They weight 5 lbs. How much do the stock ones weight?

My guess is there isn't significant weight savings over stock. The stock ones are light!! Please surprise me.

Cheers
Shawn

I am in the market for some panels but......Do they hold up too lots of riding on the panels in the powder?

Or are they more of a show piece? Stay behind the velvet ropes folks.....

showpiece. they don't hold up at all, but they are nice and light.

Geeze, that's mean. There made out of lexan, same stuff all those polycarbonate hoods are made out of. Should be pretty tough stuff. Looks like you'll save 3 to 6 ounces per panel. They look pretty nice. Glad to see someone coming out with something aftermarket.

Lexan is super durable. It should hold up great but it is a lightweight racing product so it doesnt have a guarantee of not breaking but if you are just worried about them holding up on powder i would say you have nothing to worry about. The amount of products that customers have broken is very low.

Had 3 sets on my rev kept breaking them in the trees and high speed pow smashing, its so hard to get them mounted real good on the sides cause of all the angles and wierd mounting positions. Side panles are alot diferent than hoods that sit down in a grove. They do look real good though and thats a decent price.
