Just a quick note to let you guys know that we have in stock the Boyesen turbo spec reeds for both the stock reed cages and the Boyesen Rage Cage. These are a Turbo Specific Reed that lasts under boost. PM me for application and pricing.

Have you done enough testing to know if these are significantly outlasting the M1000 reeds? How about doubled up M1000 reeds?

I have not done enough testing to say "significantly outlast M1000 reeds". I have about 450 miles on the M7 at 14lbs, about 200 miles on M8 at 12lbs, and about 300 miles on the M1000 at 10lbs of boost.

The M7 reeds would have definitely failed by now.

The M1000 reeds still look great and the M8 as well.

Double stacking M1000 reeds is what I have done most, but 8 reed petals stock cost the same as a set of the Boyesens, so it is a better alternative there.

I would say when I have 1000 miles on them we could say "significantly last longer", but not quite yet. I will say better than stock and as good as double stacking and will post more as the miles come.

Hope this helps.

We have run the Rage cage turbo reeds for about 600 miles now, at 7-8 lbs boost and have had no issue at all. We also noticed better response with the Rage cage comapred to stock and especialle to doubled stock. Have not yet tried the turbo reeds for the stock cage, but i believe they shoud be almost as good.

They are on the website now. Go to the Racin' Station Catalog and go to the intake section to find them. Prices are $159.99 for a complete Rage Cage setup and $86.95 for a complete stock cage setup.

I ran the boyesen turbo reeds in my stock cages on my turbo xp all last year. about 700-800 miles last year. Mostly at 7lbs on pump gas. some times 10-12 on race and ran 20+ for awhile on accident with a manual boost controller. reeds still look like new.
I have a set of the rage cages coming. I have heard they have a little better throttle responce on the xp then just the replacement reeds in stock cages. I would like better throttle responce. turbo xp's blow carb boots. part of the rage cage sticks up into the carb boot and I am hopeing it will help keep it from blowing carb boots.
the xp carb boot has a plastic piece that the bolts go through to bolt to cases and a rubber boot is molded onto the plastic piece. the rubber seperates from the plastic when they blow. I have a girdle on it to sandwich the rubber to the plastic, but still had one blow.
