I am toying with the idea of puting the boyesen rage cage setup in my 2007 summit 600ho sdi. Nothing is wrong with the stock setup but I have heard some good stuff about the rage cage and reeds from boyesen. Does it really make the engine snappier with quicker throttle response or is that just BS? Anyone out there running these right now and have any real world experience with this setup? Just wanting to know how it acctually performs and if it is worth the money.

he is probably meaning rage cage as the flow guide before carb/throttle body.

at least they are pretty expensive for so small piece of metal :D

rage cage

hav em on my 07 800r made a hell of a difference!!!!! you can deffinetly feel the snap off the bat... plus you dont have to worry about your stock boots failing on you in the middle of know where;)

Power Wings

I was just going to ask if anyone has used those power wings with or without new reeds and noticed a difference.

My kid rides an 07sdi and I'm very impressed with that motor! I't has way more hp than the first 05sdi's and 06's. I just did the top end with Wisco's as it had 7000km on it and it runs really strong. I could see a little wear on the corners of the reed petals but not enough to replace them. When the time comes to replace them I will get the Boysen replacement reeds but would not consider the cages as I don't beleive they are worth the money. jmo
