Boy Did I Chump Up Valentine's Day!

OK, things were looking great. My wife agreed that it would be very romantic to spend the night at the snopark, under the stars and go for a ride Sunday morning. The camper was loaded, the fridge was stocked and my life was GOOD! Going through North Bend everything starts to get dark, look at the gauges and zippo for the amperage, crap. The picture tells the rest of the story. Before you make some helpful remark regarding the Ford, keep in mind one thing, that is her pickup. I don't think it would have helped if I told her, "I knew we should have used my Dodge." We made it home at 12:30 am. Big Thank You to Dave at Wyrsch's Towing (Northbend). He made the best of a bad situation.

It was the effort that counts!

Looks like you had a great evening planned, yeah you could have traded it in for a Monaco with slide outs but I think she'll get over it.
As soon as you get the blue oval fixed, put the camper on the DODGE and go for it again! - Literally, because we know what you were really shooting for...

sounded like a good plan.... my hubby took me out Fri so I could ride on Valentines day (w/out him :( ) & not worry bout getting back early.... what a guy!!!

I took the Wife to Olive Garden and then SHOPPING......(I even had to brave the Bath n' Bodyworks store without my gas mask...LOL) Then, on the way home, she suggests that we stop at Ham Radio Outlet.....She bought me a brand new dual-band mobile!

Good thing to have cell service. Ford doesn't have Onstar. My 97 Ford smelled like something burning at the pump fueling to go sleddin. When I lifted the hood the alternator was on FIRE. My friend got a cab back home to get his truck and will still went sleddin that day. And his friend towed me home on the way back. I now drive a Chevy.
