Boy, Am I Glad I Kept My 2012!!

Don't feel bad. We all have warranty and one or two bad day's in the Back Country won't break us. I have doubt's, confidence issue's and general nervousness about riding my sled right now, but after one day and 20 miles, I am still smiling a week after.

I'm coming off a 06 Rev. You got to ride this chassis last year. Feel bad for the me of last year.

Here is what I witnessed today. Many 13 PRO's maybe 8 to 10 on the snow. Not one being towed.
Don't be so easily confused !! If you believe what the internet tells you, then you voted for Obama!

One thing you can count on with this forum is that things get blown way out of proportion its like a bunch of old women with nothing better to do. It gets old fast!

don't worry till you have to

remember when skidoo come out with the new chassi in 08, they had same issue with the driveshaft, and same issue's on forums,i had one of them, O issues i drove the crap out of mine for 2300 mi befor i sold it, the only thing i had to replace was drive belts. Now i'm a proud owner of a 13 pro 800

X6.. Everyone needs to quit crying on the internet and just ride they're machine if its not broken!
That's not always so easy for us. Our first riding trip is 1200+ miles one way. That's a long way to go to just sit in a motel room for seven days while your friends and family are out having a blast! The unknown is the hardest part.

It's only a drive shaft! If it breaks fix it, not a big deal!

Not exactly true. I have a 12 pro and not a 13, but tell someone who has to spend the money on a helicopter ride that it is no big deal. Of corse it is no big deal to the person who never had to deal with the problem. Wether it is blown out of proportion or not it really sucks to not trust your brand new $12000.00 sled. Take it from someone who bought 2 new 07 ski-doo revs. So I guess it is easy to say no big deal when your not on the end of a rope. Or will you be and when? That is what people are afraid of and rightfully so. Oh by the way my 12 pro's are the best sleds I have ever had.

Holy crap, it is so easy to just sit back and say "just ride it" and "quit your whining" when you dont own one that failed or could potentially fail. We sit here on the keyboards all summer, dreaming of winter, and riding our sleds. When you dole out the hard to come by money, to enjoy what little time off you may have, you dont want to be worried about when, or if your sled will break down due to a know issue. Polaris should fix the problem and save face while they can. Period.

The problem isnt just that only 70 out of 20,000 failed so far, the problem is that 70 have failed so far.

I own a 12, and love it, just dont like how Polaris is handling this issue. That new XM is looking better in my poo goggles, if you know what I mean.
