Bought time...

Yeah, About time!! Not sure I'd take that forcast literally, especially over a range of just a few miles. Click a few miles north or south and it changes forcasted snow amounts quite a bit. Show's Buff pass area getting less then that spot east of Warner, but I doubt it will play out that way:)

Friggin NOAA!!! I also noticed the Tower snotel has gone to just updating on a daily basis! That's all F U G G E D up. Place gets more precip than about anywhere else in the state and they do that??? I need my hourly update fix!!!!! You can elect who ya want for prez, but I'm gonna get to the bottom of this scandal, mark my words!!:mad::mad::mad: (yeah, really mad!)

hmm 9-17 for Shrine Pass...

coverage up near ears is lookin better now too...forcast wise.

but shrine would def be worth a 1/2 day road ride and some hiking...just not sure with the wind its going to 'stick' to the road in some places.
 
Maybe 6 inches on cameron...but the wind is hammering! Looks like schofield pass (Irwin area) got a pretty good dose. No idea about Buff @#$@%### NOAA!

yah tower reading is pretty much worthless now...can't filter out the -99s w/o the hourlys...what a waste.

I found the email for the supervisor of CO Snotels and wrote him about it. He said that the Tower is a pain to keep working. I wrote him back and said TFB, there's dozens of stations you could put on daily update status and nobody would care a hoot, but the tower is relied on by a lot of people for planning their trips so turn it back on! I was more diplomatic than that, but I got the point across. He said he'll pass it down to the Assistant Supervisor....He's on vacation until the 17th... We'll see, but it could be a conspiracy against us who have to know this $hit to stay sane :eek::mad:

haha great, good work. yeah, how can you give full in depth reports w/o reporting snow depths at the same time. maybe we should just get a webcam for the back of your camper. live updates!
