Sold the iq 700 rmk today and put money down on a new 2012 swithcback assault. Will be in sometime next week or so. I was one of those afraid to buy last year because of reading some of these threads. So bought wife a 2012 rmk 600 last season. Well going to live a little and not worry about it going down. Got two year warranty and plan on running it stock and hope for the best. After two seasons at least some of these aftermarket kits will have some time on them then maybe opt for a piston kit or even big bore kit. Anyways do most of my riding in Northern Wisconsin and U.P. But do go out west. Got the one with the 2" lug. Not concerened about set up for midwest. Any suspension set ups work better in the deeper snow. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

Cool, congrats on the new sled! I'd suggest relocating your front mounts on the rear suspension to the upper holes for deep snow, it'll really help with climbing on top of the snow. Twist your FTS up to maintain the balance point and help prevent the heavy ski feeling after relocating the front of the skid. You should already have the rmk gearing if it came with the 2", if not, regear it too! :face-icon-small-coo
