We had a great ride today. C4Fun came up and we rode our butts off. Every time one of us got stuck we would look up and SH, myself and C4F would be laying in the snow. We had at least 3 to 5 feet of fresh BOTTOMLESS powder. We'd get stuck when we were least expecting it. Great times. The bodies are tired, but we are going out again in the morn. and again on Sunday.

Truck Trail Breaking

What a great day!!!!! Thanks SH & GP for letting me hang with ya. I had a great time, Pow was bottomless and deep! The roads from Layton were not too bad until I got about 7 miles from the parking lot. Even Chevy DMax's are a blast in the snow!

Man I just don't get it. All this ride hype and we broke trail from the Green Shack. Is anybody going to ride this year. OK by me if you don't, but it seems really weird to me.

I didn't get many pics, too busy riding all day. Just some pics of when we were stopped. Burnt 3/4 tank of gas in 4 hours within 5 miles of the parking lot...ALL of it was untouched.

Going up tomorrow and maybe make it a couple more miles away and Sunday if we are still able to move.

I am spent as well. That drive home about killed me. After being in that truck I wasnt sure I was going to be able to get out of it. OH! and whats up with Davis county and the City of Layton????? From Evanston to Weber Canyon was dry but from Weber Canyon to my house was a solid snowpack and icy. There were about 15 or 20 cars all over the place on the on ramp coming from Mountain Green and one off in the ditch.

We rode right out of Soapstone parking lot. It was dead, noone around. We didn't get 5 miles from the parking lot and burnt a tank of gas playing. Heading up tomorrow to go maybe 5 more miles? I will have to resize them different next time, work fine on the other forum I normally post on.

wow. no kidding. YIKES! felt like the 60's for a minute.

what a great day you had. for you. I got back to my Mirror lake house (where I cleaned it all out and left at noon yesterday) and wham! I barely got to my driveway and took 5 hours to move all the snow. Fun! I got the sled out to move garages and took a side yard spin. oops almost. that is seriously DEEP stuff. lol. wooohoooo. SH GP and C4F looked like they had a safe and carzy deep day. GP, my answer..... it can NEVER be too deep. enjoy the mini vaca. Still dreaming of a white Christmas? dreams DO get answered. well, some at least. Oterwise I'd have woke up with teh Rocketts today. lol

C4F, thanks for riding along with us. I need to get in shape and get my grove on a bit better. My hair is an absolute mess. Just got done combing through the nightmare. It is always good when your hair is caked with ice chunks. Isn't that called dingle berries????

SH said how ya going to get thru that mess??? I said, "I could just cut it all off and have your haircut". That would be the easiet way. But then again he would probably leave me stuck in the trees.

I pulled a no no and rode bountiful into the church by my self wasn't bad but I was so sketchy about getting in trouble. I tell you what SH after riding the 155 all last year this 136 was little in the deep stuff. As long as you'll dig me out. I think I am heading up to our cabin tom. the plow was busted so I don't think I'll make it to our cabin in the truck.
