Boss sent me a seat that was not built well. I fixed a few seams myself and attempted to install it only to have another much more important seam come undone. They said I had to pay shipping to get it fixed. Keep in mind brand new not used. I told them it is cheaper to pay a local shop to fix it and they should reimburse me to do so. Not an option. I took it to Alaska Tent and Tarp and they fixed it in two minutes free of charge, Now that’s customer service. Boss will not get my business again and I hope others will think twice before buying from them. At the very least ask them before you buy, what will happen if you receive your "NEW" product damaged. Will you have to pay to ship it back to them to repair it?
 
Finally got a Boss seat for my sled this year. Fit and finish is sub par without being graphic. Loops at front don't reach intended area by 1+ in. Some snaps at bottom don't reach past tank to get to tunnel. Plastic shell/form is very thin and crushed out to fit on frame tabs above tank, not cut out cleanly or as thick as I would expect for the price, storage basically non existent. Love the ride though. Really wish some of the other seat manufactures would come down on their prices and compete. Better yet wish the manufactures would make seat 2-3" higher stock. This seat was for the Skidoo Rev chassis.
 
Had to send my "real" Boss seat in for a new cover under warranty. They sent me back one of their new Chinese seats instead.

I called them up and said thanks but I'd like my original recovered and returned.

They said they are working on it and will send it when it's finished, and that I can use the new one as a "loaner" til it get's here.
 
Im glad some others have had luck but I still cant believe their customer service. This was also a ringing endorsement for Alaska Tent and Tarp. I hope people will give them their business as they have been top notch every time I have used them.

Agreed Boss's customer service is non-existant. Always order a boss seat from a dealer. Much faster service and you have a place to return it to. Up here its Northern power Sports. Not sure on Anchor town.
 
I've owned 2 boss seats, first was junked out quickly and boss told me to get effed when I asked about warranty. Second one (came with the sled) is doing ok so far, but I know it won't be long. I'll never buy from boss again.

Alaska tent and tarp fixed both the buttons that go to the tunnel for free today. She insisted she didn't want any money for it. awsome alaskan company.
 
crappy seat

same here.. i got mine off of a local use to be shop... and the thing doesnt fit for crap:mad: the loops in front are short an inch, its got jagetty edges all over and some of the seams are coming loose... and its only got an hour riding time on it.. freakin pissed:mad: oh its for a rev chassis, probably gonna be for sale since i wont have a running sled for the rest of the season.
