I am new to all of this so bare with me! I am looking for a boss seat for my 05 900 can anyone help me find one that will fit it?

I just checked the bossseats.com website and noted that they no longer sell seats for the 05-06 Polaris sleds...missed when that change happened I guess. A dealer or two might still have one in stock...though where I am not sure. I do know that you have come to the right place to find out though! There are some really great and loyal 900 fans on here...
However, there is one other company to consider: WRP. Here is a link to a pretty cool kit that they sell (pretty affordable too). I can't speak from experience with it, but it might suit your needs.

The WRP seat rocks mine was the proto type for the 05 900 rmk. I would buy it if your looking for a great seat at a good price. And i would also get there running board kit too for the 05 900 i think its the best one on the market. Doug at WRP is great to work with. Turn around time on there work is fast & on time had mine back in two weeks from scratch as a prototype. FF

Boss seats suck! their service is total crap! RUN FAST!You have been warned! Do a search there is a million threads on the subject.
R&M Lightening products makes a very nice seat as well.It has lots of storage but its not cheap. WRP also seems to be good product but I have not tried one personally.
