BOSS Seat Returns?

Has anyone received information from BOSS on when the return/upgrade process will begin for their 2009 seats with the zipper issue?

I talked to them about 2 weeks ago. I have mine ready to ship.

They said to hold off a couple more weeks. They are still getting everything setup in the new shop.

They also said they would call us. So if you have already contacted them and they have you on the books that you need a repair you should get a call.

They thought by the end of July they would be ready. So I will be calling them August 1st to find out.

This will be a real test for BOSS to see how they stack up in the customer support area IMO. Will they call? Will my seat be back before the snow flys?

Thanks for the response. I have called them, I just know that historically, if you order something now, you could expect it in December.

You're right about it being the big test.

I hope they pass......:eek:
 
Didn't they fail the first test by shipping a poor product? Zippers on our seats broke after just 2 rides, that should have been found before production was every shipped.

And then they failed the second test by making us wait until the off-season to get them fixed. Oh yea, I forget "they didn't want me to be without a seat".

So I suppose the test will be if it is 3 strikes and you are out.

I just read on a few other fourms that Boss is planning on fixing the 2010 zipper problem with a updated cover in late august.

So, they're going to be sending all of us new covers? Sweet!


Oh, hold on, you mean they're going to fix the 2011 problem? Cause to fix the 2010 problem they'd have to do just that. How about companies STOP SHIPPING JUNK TO THE CUSTOMER!!!!!
