Boss seat repair

Anyone found a good way to fix their Boss that has looked good and held up. I have a 1-2" slit from a branch and figure it'll cost at least $30.00 in shipping just to get it there and back over the summer?? Plus with the Cat spring check deal I would think they'll be buried in over the summer. PS it's in the orange part of the seat and doesn't seem to be spreading. Thanks in advance for any help.

Waiting Game on your coin.................

Have a reputable upholstery shop in your area fix it for you. You will be TIME and money ahead most likely. My zipper on my shovel pouch has already broke in just over one season and I will NOT send it back to Boss to be fixed. That chincy little zipper will be replaced with a better quality one and also will be done sooner than waiting for slow a$$'s to get it done anytime soon. Freight alone would cost me $70 or so just to get it there and back. Good luck on your choice.

P.P.

I see I'm not alone with the shovel pouch sipper being junk. They also made my pouch out of a cheap vinyl that is flaking off!
You can take the cover off the seat and bring just the cover to an upholstery shop and get it fixed. No sense paying them to fit it on and zip it up.

Thanks for the reply's. They got me thinking I had a local detail shop fix a Poo seat for me years ago and it turned out very nice. I think I'll go that route.

If you not picky about how it looks we just fixed my girlfriends seat . I used spray 77 glue a curved needle and thread to match turned out better than i thought it was going to . It also helps when your sister does upolstery so it didn't cost a thing !!!
