Boosted nytro switch to Pro?

Hi guys, I currently have a impulse nytro. Looking to snowcheck a 2012 pro rmk. I know the power will not even be close. Does the fun factor, boondocking ability make up for the hp?

Basically has anyone switched from a boosted 4 stroke to the pro? Your thoughts/opinions?

I ride in northern CA and it seems like our snow sets up in like a day. Just getting a little tired of the heavy 4 stroke and thought the pro would be a fun switch. Would like to have 2 sleds but budget wont allow it.

Thanks

I came off an Impulse Nytro at 10-12# (depend on elevation) running pump gas.

Yes, the fun factor is > for me. I'm able to be much more aggresive and pull off stupider stuff on the Pro... Granted, I was never big into pulling "point and shoot" chutes or anything on my Nytro either.

For what I want to do, and the way I want to ride, and the conditions I'm in, the RMK really works well with me.
As long as the reliability is there...I'll continue to be a very happy camper!

I may miss my 162 turbo Nytro when it gets silly stupid deep...but, I'll just have to play smarter. ;)

Id like to make the switch but i know ill miss the power. And when the snows setup you can't do powder turns anyway. Maybe if the Pro turns out to be a reliable sled ill buy one and boost it.

I'm coming off a turbo nytro as well.
I'll miss the power but it handled like a pig.
Looking forward to an agile sled which I spend more time
riding than tinkering with...

Thats my thing also. Want a pull and go sled that is fun to ride. Tired of little things going wrong on a typical turbo build. I have just about decided to snow check.
