Boost-T question

I have a alpine/trask kit, it runs a garret 2860, i have the wastegate all the way turned down, still hitting 7lbs... i just added manual boost-t... (turbosmart) Will this allow me to turn my boost even lower? to like 5-6lbs for low elevation(2-3000ft) and then back up to 8-10lbs? (higher elevation Revy on AV gas 100 octane)

Or do i have to set Wastegate even tighter? or loosen it? Just not sure exactly how boost-t works..

Thanks Brandon

I believe you have to loosen it. The boost t will only go as low as the spring presser but once you get it at the numbers you want then the t will adjust it up to what you want and back again. But some one might have a better way.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

I do not know haw that last bit got on there?????<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

I have it adjusted pretty much all the way i believe.. but first time out the snow was very set up and i was not clutched right, so i was hitting rev limiter all day, so i am wondering if now that i have changed clutching to what Alpine recommends + HOPEFULLY more snow will my boost numbers possibly drop?
