after looking into my running issue more, i found a boost leak at the waste gate arm. it leaks out the top between the arm and the brass bushing. has anyone ever seen this? how do you go about fixing it? Thanks

How did you find the leak there? I would interested to know how to fix it for future reference.

could hear a slight hiss coming from turbo, sprayed it with soapy water and there it was. it seems if i lift up on the arm it goes away. I am in the process of making a gasket or some type of sealant work. i was going to try an oring but figured that would just burn off quickly. any suggestions?

That's an exhuast leak not a boost leak. However, you don't need a perfect seal there unless you want to run 30 plus psi because your wastegate flaper is going to open to release the exhaust gases to get your targeted boost. Might help to have a good seal for throttle response to I guess. However it has nothing to do with intake air leakage which is what a boost leak is.
