Boost-It question

hey there fellow snowesters,
for the boost-it kit, with the XIC, is that the only controller that is used, or would there be the need to run the other fuel controller (ie: boondocker, PCV etc..)?
as well, for the extra injectors, are those mounted on billet throttle body boots? or somewhere else in the turbo set-up?

thanks in advance, -B

no other controller needed the boost-it controls all the extra injector turbo functions. Hopefully Neil will chime in but I think you can run your extra injectors in your tbodies or directly into the airbox.

correct on this.

you can run the boostit to control all your needs. extra injectors can be mounted on the throttle bodies, charge tube, air box, or on a turbo performance billet intake.

But you will need his kit imo. If you bought just a boost-it box you won't have the tmap interceptor which is needed to get fueling right when boost hits. And he runs a different fuel regulator

I see you said about the kit, so yes that is all that is needed. Just wanted to inform others you need more than just the box.

I installed the Boost it controller on my Silber kit over the summer. It comes with everything you need, fuel regulator and intereptor. It was a vey easy change over and works really well.

Just installed and tested boost it box on my m1000, went on an existing twisted rg kit. Just wired in like old attitude box, but with a new tach signal, unlike attitude box. It only controls the secondary injectors. the stock ecu still controls the stock injectors. my secondary's start adding fuel about 4200 rpm. Very easy to use, and machine runs great!
