Boost data logs

Curious for anyone that has logged stuff on a boost I'm curious what kind of post turbo air Temps the motor sees.

I've got an inkling the intake restrictions and underhood butterfly valves are taking already high IATs and making them skyrocket , det, etc. I have the tools to log it all now just curious if I could get any jump start on a project of anyone had info to share.

I was very pleased with the BD intercooler. Made a significant difference with charge temps.

Appreciate those little snippets. After a few talks with various people it does seem there is a pretty big opportunity to make more and consistent power on the boost sleds.

I know a big air filter out the hood, like the old school turbos works and helps alot on the boost.

Did you guys just bypass the stock intake alltogether or T in some sort of additional snorkel?

Made a T, this is the mock up. But you get the idea. Filter, a 90 and some leftover plumbing parts.

Did you notice any difference in throttle response with the IC?

Honestly not much difference in throttle response, other than doing away with all the laziness caused by heat soaking. Which the 23 tuning was much better than the 22 tuning on that front as well. I don’t think the IC is really worth it until you start getting into the 20HP and up tunes. Just my 2cents.
