Boondocker Timing Module

Just got 2 timing modules from boondocker, and no instructions.
Anyone use these yet? Where do they install?

I think mine is at the post office. They are supposed to plug in where your ethonal chip goes. Other than that i don't think you have to do anything. Not 100% positive.

They plug into your crank position sensor. It is located on the front of your clutch cover. It is a black plug with 5 or six wires in it. you Need a couple of pics or small screw drivers to take it apart.

Yes it has defiantly cleaned things up a lot. Ran great all day here in mcall today at 8.5 lbs of boost. But I think my new silber runs better.

I found it. Black connector with 5 wires above the clutch cover. Going to run mine tomorrow.

Have you gotten a clean 10# out of the boondocker? I hear the Sibler is running the best, what kind of boost you seeing?

Just curious, in what aspect do you feel the Silber is running better? Are they both Pros? Same fuel? same clutching? same Boost psi?

The silber kit runs much cleaner on the bottom end. I can run the silber at 10 lbs at 5000 ft on strait av all day long. The bd starts running out of injector at about 8 lbs. The silber has 2 more injectors. Plus the guy didn't tell me I was a whiner and didn't know how to ride a sled. I paid to fly a rep from there company at my expense to make our sleds run and still nothing. If it wasn't for Justin at code red we never would have gotten anywhere. I thought the reason we bought a bd kit was because they were the best man was I wrong. Bd customer service is the worst I have ever seen.

Will this module work on non turbo sleds? DTR found gains by adjusting timing just wondering if it this could be used on NA sleds. I can't find any info about it...

Boondocker says a stock sled will benefit greatly from this module. That is just what they told me, I have no first hand experience.

I thought I would bring this to the top and see how the timing modules worked out. Are they still available from Boondocker for the Dragons?

Those that used this with a turbo, when you installed the module did you have to re-tune the sled, or just increas boost an call her good?

common sense on a boosted sled that it would pull timeing? and on a n/a you would want to add timing?

So what does this box do does it + or - timeing if its adding timeing under a boosted aplication then theres ton to gain with added timeing on a n/a engine

The timing module worked great for me. BD recomends I stay with the 3*. It takes all of 1 minute to install.
