How do you keep it from pushing oil out the vent at high boost (above 18lbs)? I know you can extend the hose and go above the steering but I am told at high boost it is going to puke a ton. Any ideas like a reducer?

Dont fill the oil reservoir so full. Mine only pukes when it's overfilled.
Some residual is normal though.

There is some speculation on the exact cause of this, but I have found this to be a problem on most turbo kits.

The two things that seem to help the most are to not run over full on oil. This can be a problem on some sleds. If I run my sled with the oil level below full my oil light is on all the time. Something about running 20 lbs of boost and having your oil light on that makes you nervous.

Don’t run the breather hose up and over the steering. If you think about it, the blow bye happens when your at high RPM and holding for several seconds. Most of the time in this situation the nose of your sled is pointed up, your either climbing or riding a wheelie. If the hose is ran up and through the steering you are actaully allowing gravity to pull the oil to the low spot of the hose which is just under the steering bearing. When you let off the sled comes down and the oil continues to flow down the other side. Run the hose to the nose of the sled. This way when your climbing or riding a wheelie the oil has to be pushed up to the air outlet which is now pointed up. I set up a catch bottle with a breather hose in the nose and it seems to let the blow bye run back into the crank case when the nose is pointed up hill. I try to park my sled with the nose pointed up when possible.

It is not just the BD kit that has this problem. I have seem several other kits do the same thing. Some sleds are worse than others, but if you find the right combination of oil level and draining set up the problem is manageable. IMO.
