Get what ever is needed to run the push to pass button. I have a "pump" kit with the intercooler and the lowest I can go is 6.5#. I believe they had a fix to go lower, but that is a manageable level for me in the tight stuff. Today I filled up with 100ll and set my button for 12#. So for the most part ran on 6.5# until things opened up then hit the button and had 12#. I really like the set up of being able to have proper for me boost levels where I can manage some kind of control of the sled. Although in the step stuff, 12# is a little to much for the stock skid as I was vertical way to much and not getting the power to the snow.
so how do you clutch for the push to pass, if your at 6.5 lbs and push a button to go to 12lbs than how do you not over rev
You dont, clutch for a happy medium. Most guys only add a couple pounds on the pp button.
If your running enough fuel to not det on 12 lbs why not set it up for that? I don't quite get the point of the pp button. So much of the sled is set up, and it's impossible to get your clutching dialed in with varying hp. Especially a 50-60 hp range. at that big of a power change even suspension set up comes in to play.so how do you clutch for the push to pass, if your at 6.5 lbs and push a button to go to 12lbs than how do you not over rev
