Boondocker Nytro Vids from today

Nice...clutching or throttle variance?

Cornice Ridge at Tony's?

Both. I tried a different setup this trip, and she is under-reving. But when Zeb was riding it, he was in and out of the throttle.

Oh, and ya, that was up Noblett's..........

its always funny when you go against a n/a 2stroke they just cant beleave how fast a turbo 4 is:D looks like it hangs right there with the apex too,how do they compare power wise.:D

Power wise, its just different. On the Apex, you get the nice rush of the turbo coming on. Not so with the Nytro. It's completely linear from top to bottom, so you dont realise you are going fast, unless you look down, or have another sled to compare it to.
In my opinion, if you go over about 12 lbs on the Nytro, you are going to need a track and some suspension work. In these vids, its pulled as tight as it gets, and its just controllable where its at.
The Apex has a Challenger track on it. So if we start from a dead stop, it kills the Nytro out of the hole. Even the Rx1 with the maverik would pull it hard out of the hole just from the difference in track size. The Nytro digs a huge hole with the ski's in the air, before it takes off.
In good snow, with all things being equal, I think its going to come down to rider. As it is right now with different tracks, the Apex still rules the hill.

Great Vids - I'm not surprised that the Nytro faired as well as it did on relatively hard packed snow. In my experience, when you add a couple feet of fresh the results vary substantially.

While you guys were riding up at Notellin we were riding down at Notellum. Turn that Apex up to 15 lbs. and watch it fly ;)

I'll tell ya what, Dustin had his up to around 15lbs the other day.......its the first time I have seen the snow flap on a Nytro!! He had that girl a rockin!
