Boondocker kits for KTM 500?

I had a really hard time getting my bike tuned with the boondocker turbo kit. It always had a bog no matter what fuel numbers they sent me. So what I did was I remade the whole turbo kit, I built it with a plenum and I relocated the turbo closer to the header. Seems to work better now. But if I was you I would go with KMS kelly sells great turbo kits and he definitely knows what he is doing, great guy.

Just looking at the designs, KMS understands that a big single needs a big airbox to help the bottom end perform, boondocker with the 2' long 2" pipe, its going to bog out of the hole... you can only tune around a bad design so much.

Have they got the KTM's sorted out, or better go with KMS?....

What kind of boost number are you looking for?

I ran a 500xcw with a 2016 timbersled long track last year, no engine mods. Just picked up a '15 450sx to make a dedicated snow bike. I've been looking at aerocharger and boondocker, but open to anything at this point. I'm looking to pull the trigger by September on something.

6lbs is what I was thinking, just want to get back what's lost at altitude, and maybe have a longer life than going higher.

Would like to pull 6th on the trail, and just a little more poop to get out of tight spots.

Not against Aerocharger, but would be nice to hear from someone who's run one.

What I have been told is people have an issue running under 10 to get it running right... That is what I have been told.. call Kms he is super knowledgeable and will talk you ear off;)

I'm going to check out KMS. My understanding on aerocharger is they don't really go over about 8psi.

I'm not looking for crazy boost numbers, 90-100hp on a snowbike is going to be nuts. very happy to talk to someone at KMS and pick their brain. What type of turbo are the using?
