Boondocker EBC problem???

The M 1000 I am working on finally got the EBC with push to pass. Everything seems to work fine except it will not communicate with the Boodocker fuel box in terms of pressure. When I go to the first stats page it only shows -xxxxx for the boost pressure. I calibrated the EBC, but it will still not give me any reading. On the max pressure page it also reads xxxxxx. I can see the ambient temp reading.

The ebc seems to read pressure because if i blow into the pressure tube I can get pressure readings on the display.

Any Ideas Guys????

Just went through all this today with reid at boondocker canada and now the sled rips like crazy. We had xxx on the boost display last weekend and it was not reading the boost. all i can say is do not run it until it can read the boost or you will melt a set of pistons. Go over your wires again. Make sure you have proper voltage to the controller, EBC, oil pump etc. We added the old reverse voltage rectifier instead of the stock one. Hope this helps and there should be no wires left unplugges.

If you have never cleared the fuel control box, it will read xxx. Pull up the xxxx and move the cursor to the Y and hit select it will clear and start to read. you have to do on run and max.

Tried to clear the box, but it will not clear and still reads xxxxx. The map is also unlocked so it is not that. I do have a lead unplugged, but this is for the AUX injectors. I am going to try another control box in the morning and will post the results.

Thanks for the input guys.

Does the ebc read boost. If does not check the plug on the transducer and work your way back checking all the plugs. Before you change the fuel control box, see how all the wires and plugs compare to the one on the sled. Also do this to the harness if you have another. Good Luck

Yes the EBC does read boost. I have another harness and compared the two from my other fuel box which was not set up for a turbo. Both boxes have the exact same wire configuration.

I will try the M8 box on Sunday and see what happens,

Thanks

Im having the same problem on my 2010 m8 pg turbo with ebc. I am reading boost on my ebc, but not reading boost on my boodocker control box. So with the control box not reading any boost it is not providing any more fuel so as soon as the turbo starts to spool it falls on its face. Checked over the wiring connections and everything seems good. Any suggestions ?

Call Boondocker and talk to Jared or Kyle. The control box is getting its boost signal from the EBC, there is no boost reference going to the Boondocker Box, just an electronic signal from the EBC. If all your connections are good then you probably have an issue with the fuel controller.
