Boondocker...do I need it?

Hi guys. I took my 06 1000 gade in to get the 07 mapping. I think I had the 07 sea level, but I won't know until Monday when I talk to the mechanic. I have 5200 miles on it.(bought it at 3200) I have changed gearing from 25/49 to 27/49, installed UNI filters, cleaned the reeds and eraves, have the DUNN clutch kit, and 3 studs a bar up the middle. I don't have egt's, a fuel press. or temp gauge...(I know, I know.)
So do you think the Boondocker would be required. I trail ride a fair amout at 40 to 60mph(don't tell the wardens...lol) so about 5500-6500rpm with bursts of throttle here and there. But most of my riding is lake running at 7000+rpm and with WOT runs of 2+ miles not uncommon. Any thoughts welcomed doods.
Thanks in advance

dude the best advice i could give is to put the stock air box back on and leave it stock. you get into screwing with the intake and the comp cant tell its getting more air or even hotter air in some cases. and the boondocker dohicky thingamagig is just going to cause problems.

STOCK BOX??? Thats a no no they were junk and the unadmitted major cause of the crank failures..

Get the gauges etc first then get the Boondocker
