Boise State-Oregon Predictions!

I agree to a point. When I first saw the video I was with everyone else...suspend the oregon player for a loooong time. After watching it a few times, the Boise State player does come right up to him and tap/hit/touch him on the shoulder while saying something to him. Not saying that it deserved a KO punch to the chin but the Boise State player's actions had a fair amount of unsportsmanlike conduct in it as well. But they announced about an hour ago that there will be no punishment for the Boise State player...

Yes the BSU player was stupid, does it warrant a NCAA sanction? Hell no....does it warrant coach's discipline...hell yes.

Does the loser from Oregon deserve sanctions from the NCAA? ...Hell yes!

....a fair amount of unsportsman like conduct from the BSU player? ...now thats simply nuts!

As for taunting and trash talking being part of the game, it is an unfortunate truth. I still don't like it. It's punk *** and low class that cheapens any sport.

by your standards the oregon player should have been suspended before the game... he was taunting and trash talking before the game even started...

trash talking and taunting is part of sports... its adds to the competitive nature of the game. throwing a cheap punch isnt and needs to be dealt with...

Have you read this thread? The BSU guy was not the one that initiated the trash talk from the beginning....yes the BSU guy was stupid for continuing it at the end of the game. The Oregon guy Blounts was trash talking before the game and the whole way through it. So part of you is pleased that a BSU player got punched because he talked trash back? ....when Blounts was the instigator from the beginning.

Coach Peterson DID say that he will be punished but that it would be handled inside the coaching staff.

Remember taunting during the game is only a 15 yard penalty. You sucker punch someone they will always kick you out of the game. The players talk smack throughout the whole game.
