Boise ID

Alright, who lives in and around Boise ID on this site? Next question is are any of you going to be attending the International Snowmobile Congress in June 11 12 13 and 14?

I will be there and if anyone happens to roll on through it would be good to stop and say what you think! I'll be at the Tucker area of course.

It's at the Grove Hotel on 245 Capital Blvd by some arena.

I know for a fact that, John lives there in Boise. I think some others do also..

I'm sure I'll be by. I'll be easy to spot...just look for the guy on crutches.

So Andy, you finally got out of Kenya?

^^ Wha?? Why are you on crutches? I thought I was the accident prone one.

I won't be attending due to some work obligations that week, and the Sawtooth Relay that weekend. I know Sled Idaho will be there though.

I'll be at ISC Thu & Fri nights and during the day Saturday.

That's cool you are coming all that way to attend. Nice to see good exhibitors will be there. I'll come say hello.

Inform a young buck! What is the ISC?

It's a little bit on the political side but it's the International Snowmobile Congress. It's been going on for something like 30 years now. It focuses around the manufactures, the governments, the trails programs the equipment, safety and a lot of other things. Call it a convention if you will, there will be displays and vendors so it's not too bad but it's not like a sled show or anything like that. If you want to see groomers and grooming equipment it would be the place to go.

RJ you should show up a bit early and come to Bend, Oregon with us. You can teach me how to ride in person. That would be fun and very informationally rewarding!

We are in Boise and we've been thinking about a booth there, but wasn't sure what the heck goes on there. Can't seem to find an agenda or anything - ISSA website leaves a lot to be desired on the information they offer.

Anyone fill me in?

Try the ISC website. I don't know it right off hand but Google I'm sure would.

It's a lot of meetings from a state affairs side and club issues. It also has a huge groomer thing going on during this time where everyone will be there. I know last year there were a few booths from outside vendors such as Togwotee etc and some aftermarket companies. I don't know how much a booth is or anything like that, maybe go in with some other company and split it up?

F-bomb, I'm sure you would have to go back to the drawing board, so not only would it be entertaining, it would be educational as well! I can have a riding basics class at Haydays for those of you needing one!!!!!:face-icon-small-win

I would love to have a chance to ride that time of year, I'll be flying in Wednesday night, but then Saturday the GF and I are headed toward Jackson so we won't be around after the show at all.

It's true, but the more and more people I see from here it's like you know them already so it's rather interesting. Matter of fact it's like you are on the forum only live.

Unfortunately, all that is on their website is the application form. I'm not sure, for the money for a booth, it would be worth it if their target is more groomers, etc. The booths are fairly expensive.

Might be fun to put together a Boise Snowest welcomes RJ get together though!
