Bogie wheels on Mt. Tamer?

I'm putting together my new Mt. Tamer rear skid on my 08 RMK with the old style ice age rails. In the instructions it says you can't remount the bogie wheels to the new ice age rails because of all the material that was removed to lighten the rails. The ones have are solid and look like there is plenty of material. There are 6 bogie wheels on my stock 155" skid and I was wondering if I could get away with only putting some of them back on. I have cable scratchers but that doesn't seem like it would be enough.

Also I read that some people spray something on thier hyfax to lube it up before they ride. I usually have to ride a ways on questionable snow before we get to the good stuff. The stock hyfax has lasted 2800 miles and is still in usable condition but you can definatly see where it has worn more where there aren't boagie wheels.

Thanks.

i would think you will be ok based upon my past experience with Ice Age rails. The one thing to watch for though is making sure that when mounted, the wheels are actually hitting.

On my old Nytro, i mounted everything up and realized that the spacing on the wheel mount was off about 1/8" so the wheels were not touching the track until the slides wore the 1/8".
