Boggie wheels on pro

Ordered a boggie wheel kit for my pro rmk. Only came with two wheels? My standard iq rmk has 6 extra wheels.

I see the pro rmk has small idlers on the front shock shaft.

Instructions show 6 wheels.... Was i suppose to order 3 kits??? Wtf

So should i order another kit or get those ski-z scratchers and never worry about it being i need extra cooling compared to my iq rmk anyways.

yup 6 wheels here as well, im sick of burnt hyfax on the trail in to the powder and stopping to put snow on ppppfffftttttt nope, ill keep my wheels

Sorry I should have said this "what" you need:face-icon-small-hap
Here is a pic of my IQ & my Pro Ride, same same :face-icon-small-win

Yah thats they same as my standard iq rmk. only thing is with the pro it has 2 like 2" diameter wheels on the front shock shaft on the inside so not sure im going to put two outer wheels there as well??

i took the wheels off my iq for two rides and cooked my sliders so i put them back on in a hurry! haha i may scam them off my iq before i sell it.

So 1 set of boggie wheel is not ennough with stock ice scratcher?

I never ran scratchers on my standard unless my heat came up and that was hardly ever so the wheels saved the slides there.

Im thinking with the pro cooling i will be running them more so maybe not necessary to run wheels

My 13 pro ran a lot hotter then my standard 11 did , I never put extra wheels on however I had to have my scratchers down a lot more then I like to!!!

The kit only comes with two wheels. About $40 American if my memory is still intact. The wheels won't do much for cooling. More to extend hi-fax life. We have found that the factory scratchers work very well for cooling even on the hardest pack snow. Good luck.:face-icon-small-coo

boggies

same here, i took two sets out last season to try to eliminate snow and ice build up. where we ride you dont need extra cooling or hyfax lube but last ride of the season snow was skimpy getting to the powder and i could smell the hyfax so i put them all back on. Not worth it in my book.

Idlers don't help with cooling of the sled. Helps with wear of the slides.
When my ones on the 13 wear out I will replace with these.
Graphite model.

Used these on a 93 Indy Classic 500 (way back) and my Ski doo XP and never had a problem with slides melting, even in warmer temps. I removed all the bogie wheels from my ski doo, then I ran scratchers. Still not a problem.
I also noticed that the sleds would creep forward when idling, less friction.

If those are current prices thats a great deal especially for graphite! The dealer wanted i think almost $30 each

Yah sorry i mean ill have to run scratchers more to cool the pro so it will also in turn cool hyfax.

Where on the iq i hardly ever needed to run scratchers to cool the sled so i needed all the wheels.

I took off all my wheels on both my M7 and Pro have never had an issue.

I put on ~2500 miles last season and my hyfax look perfect. I just run my scratchers on all the hard trails... no biggie if you ask me.

In the spring time when it gets REALLY nasty, I'll jump off the trail a lot and if worse comes to worse, I drag a heel to kick up more snow.

I think ill throw those two on inside in the middle and scratcher it up. If they cook ill put graphites on.

I have run the 4 extra bogie s n my 09 IQ and my 12 pro.Never had an issue with hyfax by using them.I robbed them off my 12 and will be adding them to my 14 163.cheap insurance.

I run 0 boggie wheels, I just run my scratchers when I'm on a packed trail. Been doing this since since like 2005...
