Hi all, I am looking for an answer to a replacement question.

Okay here it is I have a Bayliner 2350 cuddie cabin it has a AQ 280 outdrive on it, Can it be replaced with an upgraded Mercrusier or even an newer Volvo Penta Drive or am I stuck with the junkie 280?? I want the ability to trim and maybe go to a duo-prop outdrive. Thanks all in advance.

Phillip,

I had an 83' 2350 cuddy with the aft cabin before I upgraded. Also had the 280 outdrive with a dual prop shaft on it. This along with aftermarket large trim tabs worked out really well for that boat. If you look around you should be able to convert to a dual prop and these aftermarket tabs alot cheaper than the expense of retro fitting for a newer outdrive.
