Do I need a fuel control box? Sledding at 1000 feet at home and 5000-8000 in t he mountains. Any clutching changes??

MIKE

I gotta ask??????? how you can make 10-12 hp especially at peak and not need fuel or weight???????? unless its10-12hp at engagement???

bmp does there testing at low elevations. thats how they get there horsepower im pretty sure, some guys hate bmp because at the higher elevations there pipes and stuff sometimes dont work

The stock mapping on these sleds is rich enough to where you can run the pipe and y-pipe without having to worry. They are slightly leaner in the midrange and you can pick up a few midrange hp by going with a fuel controller, but its not necessary. Clutching will of course be needed for maximum results. I'm doing 20% off our stage 2 clutch kits with the torsional setup also!

thinking about doing this setup this fall, all prob give u call this fall mike, need some more horse out of my 2010 m8 if it doesnt have enough already

If you see in DTR site you will its does not have a hole lot of fuel left. So the 10hp will be available for may be 10sec then the egt and or knock sensors kicks inn and save the engine from melt down....For longer WOT runns I would have keept i stock or go for a fuel box...but then it will be very costly for only 5hp...

We now have a full season on ours with the pipe and nothing of that sort has happened. I think Erich mentioned when dynotech did the run it was warmer out and the ECU has a leaner map above a certain temp. When we ran it on our dyno in colder temps it was plenty rich for the pipe.
