Does anyone have experience installing one on a matryx boost? Pipe need to be removed for installation which is fine, but I had read a comment that the waste gate needs to be relearned on digital wrench after it is removed/reinstalled.

I had an issue with mine after installing the B&M Fab bumper. I actually removed the bumper to take the sled in to look at it for warranty and the problem was never found because there wasn't a check engine light. After riding it knowing something wasn't quite right I eventually talked with a Polaris Engineer who told me I should have the wastegate relearned just like the exhaust valves if it had been removed. I took it back to the shop and they hooked it up and found the code and relearned the wastegate and everything is back to normal.

Others have said they have had no problems and that it's not an issue. After my experience even if it seems fine I would have it relearned anyway it's not worth losing performance over.

If you put everything together exactly the way it came apart it should be fine.

Correct.

If you spin the wastegate actuator motor and change it’s clocking in the wastegate, it will be a problem.

If you reinstall EXACTLY how it was removed, it will be no problem and NOT require a wastegate relearn.
