blue marble oil in SBA

Anyone using blue marble oil in the cleanfire 800. I have used it in my ski doo 800 renegade and cat m7 with no issues. I now have a 2011 SBA and would rather use just one oil in all my sleds but alot of people recommend ves gold in the poo. Any and all thoughts appreicated. thanks

The only thing that I question on mineral oil (non synthetic) is the tenacity and flow through the crankcase on these sleds.

A completley new game for Polaris since 2011 on the RMK"s.... A dry crankcase (no gasoline flowing through the case)... The mineral oils are more tenacious... which is great for corrosion... but now sure how that would flow through the case and into the cylinder with no gas... Same question for the E-Tec.????

.

been running blue marble in my pro since last year 600 miles or so no problems yet (oh crap knock on wood)
not a real long test but some info

the sled has 1100 miles 600 with blue marble

I've been using blue marble oil for about 10 years in several Polaris sleds. '09 800 Dragon RMK-2500 miles, '07 600 RMK - 2500 miles, '03 Vertical Escape 800 - 5500 miles, '00 700 RMK - 5500 miles, no motor failures. But I'm going to run Polaris ves gold in my '13 800 Pro, partly from listening to people like mountainhorse and others on this forum. they're making me nervous. Lol

i'm in the same boat. I've never had an issue with Blue Marble but alot of people wont use anything but ves gold makes me nervous too. I may call blue marble for some more info

Don't get me wrong... I believe that Blue Marble is high quality oil... I'm just raising some food for thought since the engines have changed radically in regards to lubrication and fuel in just the last 2-3 years.

I have ran blue marble since day one on my 12 and have over 700 miles on it and it runs great I think they want you to run polaris oil cause its more profit for them my dealer told me blue marble would b fine.

Been running blu marble for over 7 years in all poo sleds. The valves are less baked and pretty clean compared to ves oil. I have a 2011 pro with 1500 miles and a 2012 with 700 and no issues. It smokes 60percent less than ves and I like that as well. The science behind the blu marble is interesting if you read up on it on the website.
