So could be totally fluky but after 300 trouble free miles I took my sled in for the drive shaft collar update kit. Two rides later on a trail family ride my sled started slipping the drive belt. Opened it up today and a chunk of about 5 cogs are missing. Started wondering what the heck and I'm sure it's not the case but is there anyway that collar is throwing the shaft out of spec?
Also how many people are blowing these belts and is Polaris warrantying them? Calling the dealer tomorrow but would like to have some info to give them so wanted to get your guys' feedback. Either way I'm not real excited about missing the gorgeous day we had here today over this. Really hoping this is not a common issue.
