Blown belt and check engine light?

i was riding this weekend and blew a belt had about 800 miles on it so im pretty happy about that but after it exploded the wrench light came on and the battery light came on and the whole sled seemed kinda sluggish after that. Any ideas what the problem is or what i should look for?

not really sure what that is? i check the owners manual and it says the battery light mean its not charging and its just running off the battery not sure how blowing a belt would cause a malfunction in the charging system.

chunk of your belt hit something...check out the area of trajectory for broken wire etc..

Check the harnesses that plug into the ecu and check the ecu itself. Severe belt gernading has been known to crack ecu cases. If everything looks ok swap ecu's with a buddy if you can to verify wether it's the problem.

The trajectory on these belts when they let go is everywhere lol.
