Blowd up sumthin...any guesses? I'm claimin crank

I was riding in my neighborhood in some crud the other day, rode for a couple hours and of course when I was about to head home I lost power. I was climbing pretty aggressively and there was a pop, engine revved way up and I had nuthing. I opened the hood/drive cover and the engine would rev, vibrate more than norm but the primary was just barely trying to move a bit but never moved the sled. So after 4 days trying to get help I finally got it home solo style (5 hour mission) Anyhow I know these cranks are known for failing, is that what u guys think I'm looking at?

If your engine is revving and your primary isn't turning then yah your crank is busted. been there done that.

Funny coincidence, This was the first and only time I ran BLUE Polaris sytnthetic oil. 1 hr on blu oil and its done for...Lame, Prob. not the oill but still kinda funny timing. Anyhow I will be rebuilding the whole machine this spring. Prob a 700 high-comp. motor that pulls higher rpms.

Anyone got a decent 700 or 800 motor sitting around? Will trade welding/fabwork or pay cash for a fair deal...PM me
