Has anyone riden Blewett pass; Lions rock lately? Was thinking of a ride one day this weekend!

A buddy of minetore the right side of his new 08 m8 up caught a stump then a rock 600.00 later ouch not alot of snow only made it to haney meadows and had to go back to the truck its gettin there but I was smackin rocks when I went off trail

blewett sucks, rode from reecer today and there is more snow at my house in Cle elum then there is on top of lions rock. no joke. dropped down into nanuem meadows and found rocks highmarking, bent 1 arm and got the hell out of there. good for a trail ride or playing in the meadows, 2 feet of powder at best in very few areas. not to bag on your friend, but theres not even 20" overall up there. saw lts of other tracks exposing stumps and rocks!

I wouldn't say it sucks.... but it definately has less snow than other places.... found pow in the trees, though
and more than 20".....sun was out for most of the morning......... we left liberty snow park at 3:30 to head east - was just beginning to snow

Ya it was not bad at all, just to find the right places, I was up to my waist in a few places while trying to dig my sled out, several times. Day was great, company even beter. All kinds of untracked, and we had sunshine.
I was waist deep all day catching powder over the hood.
Were you guys in the Alpenlite camper at the snopark? I was the red Dodge megacab with the sled deck and polaris rmk's.
