Anybody been up to Blewett since they started grooming? Thinking about going riding Wednesday and don't want to deal with the whoops at Gold Creek. Are ice stratchers needed?

Blewitt is not groomed yet. Rode 50miles Sunday, broke trail in bumper deep wind blown fluff all day.
Fluff??? Is this true?
cant be... its dam near a ice rink up there by now!!! get out the KTM's
yeah two weeks ago it was that deep not now 
I also rode Sunday in 15" of light fluff near Blewett. No BS...
The weather came down from BC on Sat night. Super weird, Mission Ridge telemetry showed 12"+ and Baker got 0. When has that ever happened before? I didn't go because I thought there was no base under the new snow, and it was butt-*** cold. Sounds like I was wrong again

WTF!!!! it really did snow there last weekend? I saw the dot cam and it looked like it snowed a lot and the ski area was claiming 16" so i thought, no way, they must be including snowmaking and the snow on blewit must not be as deep as it looked.
and the snow on blewit must not be as deep as it looked.I was on the west side of Blewett near the Teanaway. There was new snow, lots of it, well over a foot. I was surprised, didn't expect it. No base down low, ok up higher.
A few inches in Leavenworth and the desire to get away inspired me to "go take a look" with the loaner sled. Wished I had mine, although with my luck, I would have hit something. The first few miles of road were "painful".
