Blewett Pass- Missing Dog

Please keep an open eye out for a missing dog up on Blewett...information is below.

My son and daughter-in-law lost their 4 year old female husky/border collie dog a week ago while skiing at Tronson Meadows near the summit of Blewett Pass. On 2/23 "Rain...y" was spotted by a snowplow driver at milepost 169. Our family and friends have done everything we can think of to find this beloved dog, including spending many hours snowshoeing and skiing in the backcountry around Blewett Pass. It occurs to me that snowmobile clubs might go into that area. Is there any way for you to get the word out to your members to be on the lookout for Rainy? We would all be extremely appreciative.

Rainy is black with white socks, about 45 pounds. She is friendly, but probably skittish at this point, as she is undoubtedly tired and scared. She is chipped, but has no collar. I'm attaching a picture.

If Rainy is spotted, the numbers to call are 509-833-8804 or 206-850-2299.

Thank you for any help you might be able to provide.

Kind Regards,

Anne Peck
