blewett conditions ??

rode out of reecer yesterday, pretty much sucked. There were a few soft spots on top, but low snow depth is just not worth the trouble.

Rode out of Liberty yesturday. Once you got on top the blue skies mostly made up for the low snow. Hit Naneum meadows, Lion Rock, Naneum trail, etc.. Great day for beginners and kids, as the sun was out, and it was pretty warm in the sun. Did find a few hillsides to run up as long as you were careful about rocks, etc.

Plus Side, the base layer is there, all we need is cold to lock it in, and fresh powder to make it fun.

Uh huh. Rained out. Sunday was crap. Fog, slush, crust. Still had fun. pulled some climbs I probly shouldnt have, got good and lost in the trees and drug the beginner thru places most "experts" wouldnt want to go. (read "sane people") And to whoever got over the top of tripple big, I hope having to buy a new track after digging up 158,000 rocks was worth being the first up this year

I'm new to the area and looking for some good places to hill climb in that area. I come up from reecer and know lion rock, haney medow, naneum, and the horse camp. appreciate pointing me in the right direction. tripple big?? that sounds like a place for me..

also, is there enough snow to get to the mineral springs watering hole from reecer?
