Blew the throttle bodies off today...

Got my fuel system upgrade in on my Alpine rear mount Nytro, and started turning up the boost today. Got to 12 and had great AFR's, got it up a touch more, BOOM, thing tried to take off after i cut the throttle so i yanked the tether.
the whole works poped off, wasnt too bad to repair, a bit extensive in a blizzard on the hill though.
So i realize now that i need something to hold the whole works together haha. Anyone build their own if their kit didnt have it to begin with? Id prefer to avoid the ratchet strap idea though haha. Any pics you guys could share on placement, etc. Thanks guys

Start by taking the throttle bodies off. Sand the edges of the head where the throttle bodies go on with 80 grit. Get some of that Permatex "The Right Stuff". Remove the spacers in the throttle body clamps and replace them with a few 5mm washers. Glue the rubber boots on to the head with the goop, then clamp them. You don't need tons of goo. Do the same on the throttle body side and install the throttle bodies. That should do it for 12 lbs.

Not to poach, but when you say "goop" I assume you are talking about the right stuff?

Cause there is also glue called "goop".

Having the same issue so I want to make sure.

Thanks
