blast hood/intake on ascender.

was thinking the blast hood looks lighter and looks like the old sno pro race hoods and since the blast is an ascender chassis underneath it "should" fit. i guess the blasts arent in customers hands yet though so maybe awhile till we know but a factory quality bolt on lightweight hood would be sweet.

Looks like less components on a one piece looking design. I would be curious about putting a setup like that on my old PC800 instead of Ascender body.

i thought some guys were putting the sno pro race sled hood on mtn sleds but have looked for threads about it and couldnt find any info.

Pipe clearance on the left side and top would be my main concern since the 400 pipe is likely smaller dia.

I just saw that! Leaves nothing for the air box/intake though. Other than if you like the look doesn't seem like it would be much of an advantage over the aftermarket hood offerings once you fab the intake. ?‍♂️

That is true. It would be nice if there was an easy way to fab up an intake outside of using a snorkel tube or drilling a lot of holes. Maybe it'll gain traction and get some aftermarket companies to make something
