Blade Replacement for shovel/saw combos

Where can you buy replacements for the saw blades?? SOS and BRP only sells it as a unit

if there is a stub left, rivet a long sawsall wood blade to it, did this on my wps shovel when i broke the blade, made it ten times better

you can buy the sos blade, it is the handle and blade as a unit. you dont have to buy the whole shovel or handle. if i remember it was like 20.00 bux the last time i had to buy one. their blades are one way, not supposed to saw back and fourth, they will bind then break. been there done that. ski

The greeny haters will love this, but if you buy your shovels at REI, and any part of it breaks you just take it back and you get a new shovel, period.

bah, save yourself the trouble and go to Army-Navy surplus... they have good camp saws for real cheap.

And they're not REI.

And they have a ton of other really cool stuff there.

Black and Decker makes a pruning blade for a sawsall it is called the ugly. I put one in mine before I even used it. You have to drill one hole in it. The hole for the roll pin thet holds it in the handle. I use it alot and this one works the best so far.

That is a good time to flick that POS and go to a surplus or Home depot and buy a 10- dollar folding saw that won't leave you stranded.They are junk if you have to rely on them.JMHO
