Black Widow Snow Bike Ramp

This is the best ramp solution we have found so far. They are 17" wide allowing the wheel kit to fit perfectly. 7' 10" long makes a nice shallow angle. Also being 17" wide, it slides in between two bikes in the back of your truck. All you need to do is install super glides on one of the ramps. This is an ideal ramp for the wheel kit. Having your bike "live on wheels" is very nice. I have drug my feet doing it, but am glad now that I have made it a standard procedure. The wheels stay on the bike 24/7. They come off in the staging area for the ride. Then back on. Super nice for the shop, moving around your driveway, loading, etc.

FOR THOSE ABOUT TO RAMP - WE SALUTE YOU

I agree "living on wheels" in truck + garage is best way to move these bikes around. And those are probably the best overall ramps I've seen - folding, aluminum, long.
While I'm fortunate to make a very good living, I find it offensive to be charged $450 for Tsled wheels. Add $350 for the ramps + $100 for super glides + shipping…we're $1,000 deep into getting the friggin things into the truck!! …not picking on you, just sharing my angst.

So behold my killer deal $35 craigslist U-Haul ramp (would have paid him several times that) and $50 home made wheels. My ramp is wide enough to walk up with the bike and not risk falling off the 1" margin of error widow ramps - that's where they got the name apparently. Did I mention less than $100 ALL IN?

I may buy those ramps with money I saved on wheels though, pretty sweet, mine's a bit heavy and not easiest to store, but the widows are still almost 50 lbs each half.

Happy trails...

storage box on rails

The box is where I keep gloves, jumper cables, tools, whatever I don't want on my back. I used the rubber connectors/bolts from my small Tsled bag. Weight is down low, closer to center of bike, out of way, never had problems with it. I could buy the Tsled tunnel bags but then the weight is way out back where it levers around…not as good imho.

I got a $29 electric winch from princess auto then back the truck under the bike obvioulsy only good at home but i just back into a pile of snow at the trail and bing bango
